Setting up project communication
To redirect the message flow for a project to the correct person, follow these steps:

In the main menu, go to Projects and select the project you want to edit.

Navigate to the Communication section. There are two ways to do this:

Click Communication in the main menu on the left.

Click the Communication button in the project’s central dashboard.

Select email address
Once you are in the Communication screen, you can specify the recipient for this specific project.

Find the option to select an email address for future communications.

Select the desired contact from the list of available colleagues.

Communication for this project is now set up for this person.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Question: What happens if I don’t select a contact? Answer: Messages will then be sent by default to the contact originally invited by the General contractor or to the general email address of your company profile.
Question: Can I select multiple contacts at once for a single project? Answer: You select one primary contact for future messages. However, colleagues who are set as CC recipients in the company profile can still receive copies of the requests.
Troubleshooting

Symptom: The desired colleague is not in the list of selectable email addresses.

Cause: The colleague has not yet been added as a contact to your company profile.

Solution: Go to Company Profile > Contacts and add your colleague first before linking them to the project.

Symptom: The general contractor continues to send messages to the old address.

Cause: The change only takes effect for new messages generated via the platform after you make the update.

Solution: Verify that the selection has been saved correctly, and if the issue persists, contact the General Contractor and request that they refresh the mailing list in their system.
