Terms and target audience
This article is intended for subcontractors and suppliers who have received a Request for Proposal via 12Build, but for whom the direct link in the email has expired. You will need an activated account or assistance from your internal administrator.
Reason for the notification
The direct access links included in 12Build email notifications have a limited validity period. This is a security measure to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive project information if an email is forwarded or intercepted. After a period of 30 days, the automatic token expires and manual authentication is required.
Login and password management
If you receive a notification that a link is no longer valid, follow these steps to view the project information:
-
Click the link in the Request for Proposal email.
-
View the message on the screen indicating that the link is older than 30 days.

-
Enter your username and password in the Login section.
-
Click the Log In button. You will now be redirected to the relevant Request for Proposal and project documents.
-
If you no longer remember your password, click the "Forgot your password?" link.

-
Enter your email address. You will immediately receive an email with your username and a link to set a new password.
Access for new users
If you have received the email but do not yet have your own account within your company’s 12Build environment, you cannot log in immediately using the link. In that case, a colleague with administrator rights within your organization must create an account for you. Once this account is activated, you can still access the documents by following the steps above.
