Search for subcontractors by name or Chamber of Commerce number
Before creating a new company, check whether the company is already listed in 12Build or the Chamber of Commerce registry.

Go to the search function and search for the subcontractor by name or Chamber of Commerce number.

View the list of similar subcontractors that the system finds.

If the company appears on the list, add it directly to your communication overview or click through to the company profile.

If the subcontractor is not listed, click on "The company is not listed here" in the bottom right corner.
Add a subcontractor manually
If the company does not appear in the results from the commercial register, you can register the company manually.

Click the “Add” button at the very bottom of the screen.

In the first tab, enter the general company details, such as the name and address.

Click "Continue" in the bottom right corner to go to the contacts tab and add at least one person there.
Specializations and quality characteristics
To make the specialist easy to find for yourself and colleagues, filling in the correct categories is essential.

On the next tab, enter the construction sector, activities, intended use, and specializations.

Note: You must specify at least one specialization.

If the required activity is not listed, select the “Does not have …” button to bypass this and add the specialist nonetheless.

Click "Next" to optionally add quality attributes, such as certificates, quality marks, and industry associations.

If these details are unavailable, leave the fields blank.

Click Save in the bottom right corner.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Question: Is the manually added subcontractor immediately visible to others? Answer: Yes, the new subcontractor is immediately added to the database. You can also add the subcontractor to your communication overview right away and send a Request for Proposal.
Question: Do I have to fill in all fields when adding manually? Answer: No, only the company name, contact person, and at least one specialization are required. You can leave other information, such as certificates, blank.
Troubleshooting
