How can I change my subscription?

In this article, you will learn how to modify your current 12Build subscription, add extra options, or upgrade to a higher plan. Whether you wish to switch from Activation to Connection or add extra boosters, you can easily manage everything from your own account.

Summary

You can change your subscription via the Company Profile menu or via the Upgrade Now button on specific features. You can expand your current package with boosters or switch to a higher tier, in which case any remaining subscription costs from your old package will be automatically applied to the new invoice.

This article is intended for administrators of a 12Build account who wish to expand their company’s capabilities or visibility. You must be authorized to make contractual changes on behalf of your organization.

Ways to make changes

There are several ways to adjust your subscription:

  1. Via the 'Upgrade Now' buttons: Click the button immediately when you encounter a feature that is not included in your current plan. 

    • Do you have Activation? Click on Change Activation for additional options or on Choose Connection for a full upgrade.

    • Do you have Connection? Click Change Connection to add add-ons.

    • Select Manage > Upgrade to switch to a different package.

    • Click the blue Upgrade button to add or change add-ons (such as boosters).

Step 1: Expand your subscription with extra options

In this step, select the desired add-ons for your plan:

  • Activate or upgrade Promoter: Increase your visibility to general contractors.

    • Select your plan and the geographic search area.

    • Add Boosters for specific workpackages or keywords.

  • Onboarding training: Add a training session for an explanation of the platform and profile optimization.

Cost settlement: If you upgrade during a current billing period, the amount for the unused portion of your old subscription will be offset against the cost of your new subscription. You can see this in the order summary on the right.

Steps 2 and 3: Billing and verification

  1. Billing information: Review or enter the details to be included on the invoice.

  2. Review your order: View the summary of your contract, the selected period, and the total cost (excluding tax).

  3. Confirm: Accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy, then click Confirm

What happens next?

After confirmation, you will receive an order confirmation and the invoice via email. You can start using the new features and add-ons immediately in your account.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question: Can I also pay for an upgrade on a monthly basis? Answer: When changing your subscription, you can choose between a monthly or annual billing period, provided this falls within the terms of the selected package.

Question: Do my boosters become active immediately? Answer: Yes, as soon as the order is confirmed, your selected boosters and extra visibility take effect immediately in the 12Build database.

Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: The amounts in my overview differ from the price list.

    • Cause: The system has likely deducted the remaining value of your old subscription (pro rata).

    • Solution: Check the order summary for the "Settlement" entry to see which amount was deducted.

  • Symptom: I cannot locate the “Edit” option in my menu.

    • Cause: You may not have administrator rights, or you are part of a group contract.

    • Solution: Contact your organization’s main administrator or use the chat button for support.
