A major new release is the Bill of Quantities. The functionality contains the option to add budget rules to a quotation request. The budget rules allow the general contractor to be more specific about what information they want to receive within a subcontractor's quotation. It saves subcontractors time and they can make better quotations, because they receive more specific requests.

Once the subcontractors have completed the indicated budget rules, the general contractor can easily compare them. The comparison takes the different specified requirements and prices per subcontractor into account. 

With the communication overview in 12Build, all project communication is centralized and available in real-time. Receive instant updates on status changes, new documents, and more.

New requests start in Received and then move through the following stages: In Progress, Calculation, Sent, Rejected, and Awarded.
