Bill of Quantities

A major new release is the Bill of Quantities. The functionality contains the option to add budget rules to a quotation request. The budget rules allow the general contractor to be more specific about what information they want to receive within a subcontractor's quotation. It saves subcontractors time and they can make better quotations, because they receive more specific requests.

Once the subcontractors have completed the indicated budget rules, the general contractor can easily compare them. The comparison takes the different specified requirements and prices per subcontractor into account. 

Widgets

To make it easier for general contractors to track important updates, we've added three dashboard widgets.

The widget ‘Repilied offer requests’ shows the percentage of offer requests answered in relation to the send out requests.

The widget ‘Projects scored’ shows the number of projects that have obtained the project status ‘scored’.

The widget ‘Awarded to a subcontractor’ shows the percentage of work items within a project, where the work has been awarded to a subcontractor in relation to the total number of work items.

These widgets provide valuable information for decision-making, allowing users to assess whether further action is required for their projects.

Bid management

We have launched our functionality Bid management for subcontractors.  This is a tabular overview to manage the progress of received quotation requests.

Active requests are displayed as cards in the different columns of Bid management. This allows you to closely monitor and distribute tasks amongst your team.

Improvements

  • Based on the customer test panel feedback about the price per unit and creating discount per unit, some improvements have been made regarding the GAEB functionality for Germany.

  • Created a new API call where the classification system (for instance VMSW or STABU) with underlying work categories could be obtained and used for creating work categories via the API.

  • Based on subcontractor customer feedback we've added a time filter within the Bid Management overview, in order to create a clear overview where only the quotation requests are shown that are relevant for you.

  • We have improved the existing API-call for creating new projects via the general contractor API. From now on, it’s possible to use the ‘new project’ settings within the API.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where general contractors couldn’t export a file with the subcontractor prices in the GAEB format. Apparently, even our code didn’t want to put a price tag on perfection!

  • Fixed a bug where general contractor messages regarding GAEB files weren’t sent to subcontractors. Looks like our messages decided to take a vacation, but don’t worry, they’re back and ready to work overtime!

  • Fixed a bug in the API where budget rows were rounded, instead of showing the real value with two decimal places. Apparently, our API thought it could save you a penny here and there, but we've reminded it that every cent counts!
