How can I set up the systems I work in?

By linking your services to specific standards such as STABU, RAW, or VMSW, you’ll be discoverable under the exact contract clauses that general contractors use. This provides a clear and professional overview of your specializations in each country where you operate.

What will you find in this article?

  • Selecting countries: How to specify the regions in which you operate to activate the correct systems.

  • Configuring workpackages: Adding and specifying your activities within the selected system.

Summary

You set up systems by first selecting the countries in which you operate in the General tab. Next, in the Workpackages tab, you can activate the relevant contract clauses for each country and specify whether you supply, install, or whether the component is part of your core activities.

Requirements and Target Audience

This article is intended for subcontractors who want to increase their technical visibility. The available classification systems (such as STABU for the Netherlands or VMSW for Belgium) depend on the countries you have activated in your profile.

Selecting countries

The country you select determines which library of workpackages becomes available to you.

  1. From your dashboard, go to Edit Ad or click on Ad in the left-hand menu.

  2. Ensure you are on the General tab.

  3. Scroll to the “Who do you bill?” section.

  4. Use the dropdown menu to select the countries in which you operate.

As soon as you select a country, the corresponding classification systems (such as STABU for the Netherlands, VMSW for Belgium, or STLB for Germany) are automatically set up for the next step.

Set up workpackages

After selecting the countries, you can enter your specific tasks for each system.

  1. Go to the Workpackages tab.

  2. In the left column, select the relevant workpackages/specification sections. [Image: The list of available workpackages on the left side of the screen]

  3. For each activated item, indicate whether you will only be Delivering the product, only Installing it, or both.

  4. Check the "Core business" box for up to two items to highlight your main specializations.

  5. Check if any additional tags or dealer brands are available for the selected items and select them if relevant.

  6. To remove an item, click the trash can icon or uncheck the box in the left column.

Note: Do you have a Promoter subscription? If so, you can also give these selected workpackages a boost for a higher position in the search results.

    • Cause: Not all specification sections support additional labels or dealer brands.
