Prerequisites and Target Audience
This article is intended for (sub)administrators of 12Build. To move a project, you must have the permissions to switch between sites using the option in the top right corner of the platform. Projects can only be moved to sites of the General contractor.
Moving projects
Follow these steps to move a project to another branch:

Click on the name of the project you are currently working on.

Click the All Projects option to open the project archive.

If necessary, use the filter on the left to search by project name.

In the Actions column, click the three dots next to the relevant project.

Select the Move project option.

Deleting projects
Deleting a project is a permanent action that requires a backup to be generated first.

Navigate to the project archive via the project name and click on All Projects.

Locate the project you wish to delete.

Click the three dots in the Actions column.

Select the option to create and download a backup.

You will receive the backup via email. You can download the file from the email or directly from the project archive.

Refresh the screen periodically (use the F5 key) to update the status.

Once the backup is complete and downloaded, you can permanently delete the project.

Question: Why can’t I move a project to a specific location? Answer: You can only move projects to locations you have access to via the “change location” option in the top right corner. Check that you have the appropriate permissions for the target location.
