How can I edit the company information in my company profile?

In this article, you will learn how to manage your company’s key information in 12Build. A fully completed profile functions as a digital business card and ensures that general contractors can locate your company more quickly and select it for relevant projects.

Summary

You can edit your company details via the Company Profile menu, where you manage information about your location, logo, and specializations. By accurately entering your address and activities, you’ll be easier for general contractors to find based on location and expertise.

Terms and Target Audience

This article is intended for subcontractors and suppliers with an account in 12Build. Some features, such as displaying a company logo, are part of a specific subscription (Activation).

Company Information

In this section, you manage the foundation of your online presence.

  1. Log in to your account and click on Bedrijfsprofiel in the main menu or on Edit Company Profile on the dashboard. 

  2. General: Fill in required fields such as company name, website, phone number, legal form, and Chamber of Commerce number.

  3. Company logo: Upload your logo in PNG or JPG format.

    Note: The logo is only visible to users with an Activation subscription.

  4. Mailing Address/Visiting Address: Enter your address details. Important: Make sure the ZIP code is correct; general contractors use this to filter for specialists near a project. 

Activities

The correct settings under 'Activities' determine your position in the database.

  1. Select the sectors, activities, and job roles that apply to your company.

  2. When these match the criteria a contractor sets for a new project, your company will appear higher in the search results. 

 

 

Additional materials and BIM

Indicate which techniques your company employs.

  1. BIM: Indicate which methodologies you are familiar with and which file types you can open.

  2. Files: Upload your own (BIM) files to be displayed on your profile.

Billing

Manage where invoices and print job information are sent here.

  1. Printing Invoicing Details: Enter the email address for invoices for print jobs via Plotgemak.

  2. Address: Update the address here that should be listed specifically on the invoices.

  3. Changes: To update Promoter/Activation billing information, please contact us via the "Contact Support" button. 

Links

Connect your profile to other online channels.

  1. Social media: Copy the URL of your channels (such as LinkedIn or YouTube) into the corresponding fields.

    • A YouTube URL will automatically be displayed as a company video.

    • If you do not use a particular channel, click “We don’t use…” to keep your profile complete.

  2. Add links: Add external links, for example to other business names. These are only visible to logged-in users. 


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question: Why isn’t my company logo visible to others? Answer: Displaying a logo is an Activation feature. This requires a paid subscription. Without this subscription, the logo is not visible on the public profile.

Question: What happens if I do not use social media? Answer: You can indicate per channel that you do not use it. This means the absence of these links will not negatively affect your profile’s completeness score.

Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: Contractors in my own region cannot find me.

    • Cause: The ZIP code in the business profile is incorrect or missing.

    • Solution: Check and correct your ZIP code under the Postal Address/Visiting Address tab.

  • Symptom: I cannot change my billing information for my subscription myself.

    • Cause: Changes to Promoter/Activation billing information must be made through the support department.

    • Solution: Click the Contact Support button to submit the change.
