  3. Click the "Activate Booster" button on the right next to the relevant workpackage. 

  4. The boost is now immediately active, causing you to appear higher in the search results for this specific task.

Managing Boosts

It is important to use your available boosts strategically for optimal visibility.

  1. Checking availability: At the top of the list of workpackages, a text label indicates how many boosts you have in total and how many are remaining.

  2. Filter the overview: To quickly identify which workpackages are currently prioritized, check the box next to “Show only boosted workpackages.” 

  3. Changing boosts: You can deactivate a boost at any time and then assign it to another workpackage, depending on your current focus or projects.

What is the immediate effect of a boosted workpackage? When a general contractor searches for a service you’ve boosted, your company will be displayed above specialists without a boost (but within the same advertising area).

Can I boost an unlimited number of work packages? No, the number of boosts is limited based on your subscription. However, you can add an unlimited number of regular work packages to your profile; these simply do not have a prioritized position.

Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: I do not see the “Activate Booster” option for my workpackages.

    • Cause: You likely do not have a Promoter subscription.

    • Solution: Check your license type; the boost feature is only available to Promoter users.

  • Symptom: I am unable to activate a new booster despite my intention to do so.

    • Cause: You have already reached the maximum number of boosts for your plan.

    • Solution: Check the box for "Show only boosted workpackages" and deactivate a booster on a less relevant workpackage to free up space.
