The 12Build search engine helps you immediately find the right expertise for a specific part of your project.
-
Go to the Communication menu.
-
Select the desired workpackage.
-
Click the Search button.
-
The system will now open the search page and automatically filter results based on the specialization associated with this workpackage.
-
Step 2: Add subcontractors to the workpackage
Once you see the results, you can review and add the companies.
-
Locate the desired subcontractor in the list.
-
Click the green Add to button.
-
Below the button, the text "Added to:" will now appear, followed by the name of the workpackage. Here, you can also remove the specialist if necessary.
-
Tip: You can also click on the company name first to view the full company profile and add the specialist from that window.
Step 3: The next workpackage
You do not need to click back and forth to populate your entire project; select the procedure that is most efficient for you:
Option 1: Back to Communication
-
Click the blue button for the workpackage next to the specialist you last added.
-
You will now return to your communication overview and can select the next workpackage to search again.
Option 2: Remain on the Search Page (Fastest Method)
-
Remove the filter for the current work package from the search bar.
-
Type or select the next workpackage in the filters.
-
The search results will refresh immediately, after which you can add specialists to this new task again.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Question: Can I add a subcontractor to multiple workpackages at the same time? Answer: Yes, in the search results, click “Add to” next to a company and select different workpackages one after another.
Question: Why don’t I see any results when I click “Search”? Answer: The system automatically filters based on the specialization of the Workpackage. If no companies are listed for that specific combination, you can broaden or remove the filter in the search bar.
