A general contractor wants to find the right subcontractors for a project. That is why it is important that as a subcontractor you are found by general contractors. The number of invitations to tender via 12Build has grown by 17% compared to a year ago, even though the number per specialisation has not increased. This means that more projects are carried out via 12Build.
Having a complete company profile with 12Build will enable general contractors to find you more often and faster. They can do this by searching by name, but if they do not know you it is even more important they can find you by searching your specialisation. Therefore, try to be as accurate as possible when filling in your company profile and entering your specialisations, quality labels and certificates. To complete your profile, you can also add reference projects. General contractors can then see straight away the areas in which you have experience, increasing the likelihood that you will receive a relevant invitation to tender.
