Eiffage

At Eiffage, each quotation request was sent with a separate email. The
necessary working documents for an application were sent via a separate server. This resulted in an unclear communication flow. With 12Build, a lot of time is saved on the entire application process. The time per work component has been reduced from one hour to less than ten minutes. This way, time is spent on the things that really matter.

Eiffage Infra-Bau SE and its subsidiaries have over 150 years of construction experience in Europe and Asia. The company designs, builds and manages infrastructures and produces building materials. Eiffage has been active in road building and construction for many years. In 2017, more than 2,400 employees ensured a total production of 639 million euros. Eiffage Infra-Bau is part of the Eiffage Infrastructures division of the French Eiffage Group.

A separate email for each request

When a quotation request was sent out at Eiffage, each email address had to be looked up and entered manually. That is a precise and time-consuming job. Invoices, specifications and other work documents were sent separately via WeTransfer.

The answers to these requests also came back by email. Sometimes a subcontractor sent a new email, instead of responding to the original message. That message is then quickly lost in a pile with all other messages. After all, it usually takes some time before a subcontractor sends a response. In addition, WeTransfer only limits itself to the knowledge that something was received (but not what). In short: there was little overview of the entire correspondence and documentation.

All communication in one place

With 12Build, all communication is easy to find. The most valued feature by Eiffage is the document matrix. This matrix allows the right documents to be sent to the right recipients with one mouse click. The documents are then always available and Eiffage can see whether the recipient has already downloaded the documents and whether they have responded with a quotation.

The cooperation with 12Build is also very much appreciated. For example, Peter Brouwer, the account manager for Germany, was called on the wednesday before Christmas with the request to come and give a demo. On friday, two days later, the first requests with 12Build were sent.

Significant time savings

Eiffage saves a lot of time with 12Build. Requesting a work part took an hour before the 12Build era, but with 12Build it takes them less than 10 minutes. A time saving of at least 20%!

Another big advantage according to Eiffage is that your working method does not have to change drastically to achieve this profit. With 12Build, an optimisation is easily made. It is an extension of existing processes, but a lot more convenient and efficient. So you can spend your time on things that really matter.
